The shabu-shabu, which is made with a special method of drawing bonito and kelp, is recommended to be served with homemade ponzu or sesame sauce after the wagyu beef is lightly boiled through and slightly rare.
Rich sukiyaki is recommended to be stewed with vegetables and tofu, not overcooked, and then submerged in a raw egg.
